Google presentation and picasso

There are so many ways these programs can help me in the classroom. I was not able to attend class last monday but i downloaded Picasso and played around with it a bit. You can change the pictures to any color you want or if you want to add something else to it you are able to do so as well. It was a really cool program and it would be easy to make like picture cards with it for your students when they have done something good in the class or have improved on something drastically.
Google presentation will be able to help me aid in teaching my students. I can do a slide show to show how to do things or to show them pictures of something that we are learning about in that unit. I can then post it on my webpage so that the parents know what their children are learning about and if the child missed class they can go and look to see what we did and even have a visual aid in order to help them along.
There can be some set backs in these programs, one they may not work all the time which can put a damper on your lesson plans so it's always good to have a backup just in case. They can also confuse the students more then help them in some cases so you want to make the slides easy and with as few words as possible to get the point across. Other than those reason i don't see anything else that could be wrong with using these programs in the classroom. I'm excited to learn more to see what else there is to do out there to help me in the classroom.

Video Reflection:

The video was really funny and it had so many good points that i never really noticed before. It helped me realize that i have been making some poor choices when i do powerpoint presentation. So now i know not to do certain things. Make them plain and simple and you'll still get your point across. Brillant!
